eBusiness Design was founded in 1995 (as Misha Consulting Group, Inc.) by three software engineers who were working at the time as colleagues in Oracle's product development team. In 1999, Misha Consulting Group acquired eBusiness Design and adopted its name for the combined firm. In 2004, the firm acquired Intellix, Inc. The incremental addition of leaders from companies such as Andersen Consulting, Sapient, Microsoft and Deloitte Consulting has strengthened the EBD team through a common history of successfully delivering large-scale software solutions. EBD currently maintains offices in San Jose (California) and London (UK) and a development center in Mumbai, India.

EBD is a privately held firm with no external debt or venture funding.

Since inception, our services have been focused on delivering large-scale transactional software systems. Over the past decade, we have served a wide breadth of clients ranging from startup firms to Fortune 500 enterprises and have developed a strong reputation for the value and quality of our services. This is validated by the long term relationships we have established with most of our clients.

Our culture is built around a set of values that reward professional pride, a focus on results, and openness. We recognize that our continued success and growth depends on our ability to attract and retain high caliber employees. We have a stringent recruiting process that ensures the technical competence of all of our employees. Consistent with our focus on organic growth, we recruit a substantial number of our new employees through an employee referral program.

"With its unique proprietary Sequencing by Hybridization technology (SBH), Hyseq is at the forefront of bioinformatics in the genomics field, and as such information systems form an integral part of our business strategy. EBD was instrumental in the design of a database for our SBH data storage and the supporting infrastructure, and continues to be a partner in our information technology development activities.10" Dr. David Kita Director, Software Development
